  • What are we looking for?
MERVYN HADFIELD has brought out a CD of his poems, monologues and short stories. It's called MY SLICE OF LANCASHIRE and is a superb collection of nostalgic memories, outrageously funny tales and poignant stories. There are ten tracks in all and with Mervyn's warm distinctive voice and wonderful Burnley accent, this CD is a must for anyone who loves Lancashire, in all its guises.

For a couple of years now, Mervyn has been touring various venues giving readings and becoming very popular in the process. He is a talented writer, understands the human psyche very well and quite honestly, can sometimes make you cry - both with laughter and sadness. My personal favourite is Spinach the Cat. You really have to hear Mervyn to understand his appeal. This is an excellent first CD and we hope there will be many more.

If you'd like to buy a copy (costs £5) follow this link: http://ebay Mervyn Hadfield My Slice of Lancashire

If it doesn't work, just Google the key words and it should come up.

Happy listening.
